Born in Barcelona in 1968. He studied piano and harmony at the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona and the Liceu. Complete his training with courses and seminars at Taller de Músics y Esmuc.

1992-2002 He works as a pianist in different formations of jazz, fusion and Brazilian music, leaving his mark in numerous live performances and in very relevant record works.
2002-2008 The first relevant discographic works with different artists such as Makaroff (18 Chulos), Bossanovando (Subterfuge) or the recordings with the jazz singer Anna Luna, Spring is here (New Mood Jazz), Sketches (New Mood Jazz) and Feminine (Quadrant Records).
2008-2014Releases his first album, leading a fusion jazz quartet, "Aquí y allá" (Discmedi), with rhythms and melodies close to Latin music and flamenco. He follows "World Songs" (Discmedi) has led them to perform in Jazz Festivals around the world. He edits a disc "Jazznesis", in which he shows his jazz arrangements on the music of the British band Genesis. In 2010, the first live album was recorded, recorded in the Blue Frog of Mumbai, India, and later "Coming home" (Discmedi 2012) with the participation of the great sitarist Ravi Chary.
2014-2017 He continues to collaborate with numerous artists such as Karen Souza, Anna Luna, Violet Curry, Ravi Chary, Gerard Quintana, Miguel Rios, Brazilian Soul, Geni Barry, Roller disco combo, Supersax, etc. and he continues the tours with his projects acting in
London, Berlin, Miami, Jazz Festival of Lugo, Almeria, Madrid, Factory Festival of the Isleta in the Canary Islands, Jazz Festival of Kosice (Slovakia), Jazz Festival of Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic).
With Anna Luna and Jose Luis Sánchez he edits Simplesmente Jobim, a sung biography that they presented in Barcelona and also in Brazil, Rio, Sao Paulo, Niteroi, Duque de Caxias and Petrópolis.
He edits the seventh and last record with his group: JAZZNESIS II where the pianist, composer and arranger takes up his particular homage to Genesis.
In 2018, he published an album with Manel Fortià and Roberto Faenzi. "Moments" (Discmedi 2018). Also the second album with the group Alma Brasilerira, Viagem nova (Fresh sound 2018)
This year the trio begins an intense collaborative collaboration with the singer Karen Souza in numerous international tours: Japan, Korea, China, Italy, France, Spain, etc.
In 2019 the third album of Jazznesis.Fin of the trilogy comes to light.
He is a professor at the Escuela Superior de Música Moderna del Liceo and combines his pedagogical activity with his Jaume Vilaseca Trio project and different artistic proposals.
